Eggs win. A boiled or fried egg is light and full of protein, and two on toast is still a small breakfast.

Beans on toast, muesli and scrambled eggs sit in the middle. Porridge, French toast and a waffle come higher, mostly because of what goes on top.

A full English and eggs Benedict are at the bottom by a long way. Lovely on a Sunday, just not light.
