Portion
To burn it off

Raclette is cheese melted under a little grill on the table, scraped onto potatoes and eaten with cured ham, gherkins and pickled onions. A ski holiday classic, and a Christmas one at home too.
A whole evening is about 900 kcal a person, with 40 g of protein, 50 g of carbs and 60 g of fat. Most of that is the cheese, which keeps on melting for as long as the evening goes.
It's slow, social and goes on for hours. That's the charm, and also why the pans keep getting refilled.
Tips
Where it comes from
Raclette comes from the Swiss Alps, where herdsmen held half a cheese to the fire and scraped off the melted layer for a filling meal. The first written record is from Valais in 1574, and the name comes from the French racler, to scrape. Heidi has a scene with toasted cheese on a fork, but only in the 20th century did the mountain meal become a Swiss national dish.

About 40 g, from the cheese and the meat.
Is raclette or fondue higher?
A fondue evening is about 980 kcal, a raclette about 900, so they're close.

Yes, the rind on raclette cheese is edible and plenty of people leave it on so it crisps under the grill. Cut it off if you don't like it, it makes little difference to the count.
Is smoked or pepper raclette cheese any different?
Not really, plain, smoked, pepper or garlic raclette cheese are all around 350 kcal per 100 g. It's how much you melt that counts.
